Tyrine grew up on a humble hydroponic farm on a recently settled Eden Prime. Growing up on the blank canvass of a newly settled world set his fascination to galactic adventure. He joined Alliance Systems military at 18 and was an N7 operative by age 24, where he soon earned a reputation for his ability to withstand tremendous amounts of pain. He once completed a sabotage mission with his legs missing from the mid-thigh down after stepping in proximity to an Eezo Claymore mine. Where others would be overwhelmed with agony, Tyrine always found a way to press on. Judging his behavior since the Kite's Nest tradedy and his dismissal from N7, it seems there is finally a pain END7 can't endure.

The hologram below is rumored to be the sole contents of a datapad found in the alley outside Afterlife nightclub on Omega after the Terminus Tournament. It seems the transponder data from the Kite's Nest incident has been recompiled and crudely painted up into what amounts to an expensive holographic momento of END7's last moment with his beloved Illia.

Tyrine MacNamara, now known as END7 is more than skilled enough to compete in the tournaments, but it’s questionable if he should be.

In his late 20's, Tyrine met a young Mass Effect engineering intern named Illia Lang while on leave at the Citadel. She was from a small colony in the Attican Beta cluster, and much like Tyrine, had always dreamed of a life of adventure in the stars. They were instantly inseperable, and had plans to settle down somewhere in the Attican Traverse when Tyrine's military contract expired.

Then the Reapers showed up.

In the chaos of the galactic Reaper devastation, the Blue Suns mercenary groups in Batarian space ramped up their slaving operations around the Systems Alliance borders to capitalize on the disorganized scattering of entire worlds fleeing the Reaper invasion.

END7 was deployed on special combat duty to Palavin to secure a Prothean relic that the Turians thought to be a component of the Crucible plan. Meanwhile, Illia was on Eden Prime researching the possible weaponization of the Mass Relays. When the Reapers hit Eden Prime, Illia was evacuated on a frigate headed to the CItadel to group with a Mass Effect thinktank working on the Crucible as well. The pilot of the frigate was bought off by the Blue Suns, and the frigate was rerouted through the Mass Relays deep into Batarian Space.

Tyrine quickly heard of this news. With the relic newly acquired,  he sidetracked his remaining N7 operation to organize a daring rescue mission for Illia, now imprisoned on a Batarian slaver camp deep in the Kite's Nest cluster. Blasting his way into the facility in his usual reckless fashion, Tyrine located Illia, and the two Translocated away safely to an awaiting Kodiak shuttle. Crackling with the electricity of the moment, Illia threw off her helmet, and reached to help Tyrine off with his when the translocator they used to escape malfunctioned and translocated them both into the vacuum of space just outside the shuttle. Tyrine watched in horror as his true love succumbed to the cold inky black void. He was rescued by the shuttle in short order, but it was too late for Illia.

Devastated, he set on a wrecking ball vengeance mission against the slavers, and was nearly killed a second time ensuring the detonation of a beer can nuke set to completely vaporize the Blue Sun slaver camp. The fallout of which irradiated a nearby Batarian colony and forced N7 to dishonorably discharged Tyrine from Alliance Systems military service.

Crushed and with nothing left, Tyrine joined the tournaments to put his extensive combat skills to use. He goes by END7 now, and can be found almost exclusively in a tournament arena or a seedy bar. After five years on the ladder, his single tournament record is for most times killed in a single year in tournament play. To many fans, it often looks like END7 is very ambivalent about dying, and may in fact, be encouraging it.
